With the 2018 Fall film season comes a handful of suspenseful thrillers ready to maximize on the lucrative and exciting Halloween month, including an artfully crafted remake of the cult 1977 Dario Argento thriller Suspiria, now remade by Call Me by Your Name director Luca Guadagnino.
Starring Dakota Johnson (the Fifty Shades Trilogy), Tilda Swinton (Doctor Strange, Only Lovers Left Alive) and Chloe Grace Moretz (Kick-Ass, The Miseducation of Cameron Post), this new take revisits the story of giften artistic dancer Suzie Bannion (Johnson), as she comes to the attention of Madame Blanc (Swinton), a charmismatic but mysterious director of a dancing school in modern-day Berlin.
Of course, not is all as it seems, as a number of disappearances occur and sisnister happenings may be connected to the school’s nighttime activities. Can Suzie and a few trusted friends unravel this mystery before they too go missing under similar pretext and circumstance?
